THREE vehicles in the Cottingley area of Bradford were seized by police at the weekend.
In one incident, the Shipley Neighborhood Policing Team seized two identical vehicles on Saturday night in Cottingley.
After receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle (a white VW Golf GTD) in the locality, officers located one - not the one reported - but another one that had no insurance.
Then the actual vehicle they were looking for turned up, and that had no insurance too.
Both cars were seized and the drivers reported.
In another incident on Saturday night, a car was seized in Cottingley for no tax.
According to the police, the vehicle showed SORN.
A spokesperson for the Shipley NPT said: "We are able to seize on behalf of the DVLA when the vehicle is found driving and more than three months out of date."
