THE latest in a series of live music shows is set to return to the district after temporarily moving to Leeds.
‘The Endless Hum’ has seen bands regularly perform at the Kirkgate Centre in Shipley.
Due to the upcoming refurbishment work on the centre, the event moved to Belgrave Music Hall in Leeds.
But the regular event is now set to return to the town, when it is staged at The Beehive pub, Saltaire Road, on Saturday, September 23 from 7.30pm.
The pub, which dates back to the Victorian era, closed in late 2021 and was previously known as the Shipley Pride. It re-opened in June this year.
It is a traditional-style cask ale pub, with a cellar bar area downstairs. This is accompanied by a large beer terrace at the back of the pub, where live DJ sets and music performances are held.
The music night’s line-up includes London group Thee Alcoholics, Personal Hell from Todmorden, and Leeds act, Garbage Pale Kids.
The first show was held in May 2022 and is supported by Bradford Council via its Night Economy Grant.
The Endless Hum is a group of five people based in Saltaire, Shipley, Steeton and Silsden.
