A MAN died after colliding with a bin lorry at a depot site in Bradford, West Yorkshire Police has confirmed.
The incident occurred at the Biffa Transfer Station on Peace Street, Laisterdyke, on Thursday, August 10.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is working on an investigation with West Yorkshire Police.
A spokesperson from the force said: "West Yorkshire Police are investigating after a man died in a collision with a bin lorry at a depot site in Peace Street, Bradford on Thursday, August 10.
"The investigation is being carried out with the Health and Safety Executive and the deceased’s family have been informed."
Yesterday a spokesperson from Biffa told the T&A: “It is with great sorrow we share the information that there has been an incident resulting in a fatality at the Biffa Transfer Station in Bradford.
“All our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased at this tragic time.
“We are carrying out a full investigation into the incident and it would not be appropriate to comment any further at this time.”
