POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the death of a man in a crash in Bradford.

Police were called just before 10am this morning to reports of a three-vehicle collision on Highgate Road in Queensbury.

A Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Tiguan were in collision with a parked vehicle, said West Yorkshire Police.

The driver of the Volkswagen, a 79-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Honda Jazz, a man aged 80, remains in hospital in a serious condition. 

A spokesperson from the force said: "Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly died in a road traffic collision in Bradford. 

"Officers were called at 9.57 this morning to reports of a three-vehicle collision on Highgate Road, Queensbury.

"A Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Tiguan were in collision with a parked vehicle. 

"The driver of the Volkswagen a 79-year-old man was taken to hospital where he was sadly confirmed deceased. 

"The driver of the Honda Jazz a man aged 80 years old remains in hospital in a serious condition. 

"Early investigations suggest that the driver of the Volkswagen suffered a medical episode at the wheel.

"Enquiries are ongoing by the Roads Policing Unit.
