Anyone whose life has been affected by lymphoma, a type of blood cancer, is urged to reach out for support.

More than 20,000 new cases of lymphoma are identified in the UK every year, making it the UK’s fifth most common cancer.

Lymphoma Action’s Live your Life workshop has been developed to help those who have reached the end of their treatment or being monitored by their healthcare team.

Lymphoma sometimes doesn’t need treatment straight away - this is often known as ‘active monitoring’ or ‘watch and wait’.

The unique and interactive workshop is led by someone with a personal experience of lymphoma and offers support in managing the emotional aspects of the condition and treatment side effects.

People can also get useful information on staying active, nutrition and practical tips to support the general well being of those living with and beyond lymphoma.

There will be a chance to talk to others and share experiences. Attendees are welcome to bring a friend or family member to the workshop.

The free, virtual event will offer support to lymphoma patients in Bradford on Tuesday, September 19, as part of Blood Cancer Awareness Month.

Booking is essential. For more information visit www.lymphoma-action.org.uk
