A BRADFORD fish and chip chain is preparing to open a restaurant in the Bradford district.
Mother Hubbard's will open its Baildon restaurant, which will have plate and waiter service, on August 12.
The Baildon store, on Northgate, opened in April 2023 and has been selected as the first to become a restaurant due to the setting of the premises as it used to be dining-in venue.
It can seat up to 65 people and on opening day, diners will get 50 per cent off the entire menu between the hours of 12pm and 9pm.
Outdoor seating has also been included in the design of the new restaurant.
A spokesperson for Mother Hubbard's said: "This is the first of its kind and we want to give back to the community in Baildon.
"We have 10 more stores opening this year and Mother Hubbard's is the fastest-growing fish and chip brand in the UK.
"We have brought the traditional dish of fish and chips into a modern, clean and friendly environment."
Stores are set are also set to open in Dubai, the USA, Canada, and Saudi Arabia.
