A new community festival is hoped to bring families together over the Bank Holiday.
The PHAB Community Festival will take place at East Bierley Cricket Club on Monday, August 28, between 12pm and 6pm.
The free outdoor festival will offer a full day of family friendly entertainment, food, activities, stalls, performances, face painting, bouncy castles, and much more.
The event has been organised by Bradford PHAB Club, a disability charity that promotes inclusion for people with and without disabilities.
From residential trips to weekly meet ups, the charity has provided joy to children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds since 1972.
In a joint statement, Akbar Khan, chair of Bradford PHAB Club and poet Sharena Lee Satti said: “It is a great opportunity for families to spend quality time together in these difficult times whilst enjoying the delights of everything the festival has to offer.
“So get yourselves down, have fun, make new friends and enjoy everything that is on offer for what will be an amazing day out for all the family to enjoy.
“We have even ordered the sunny weather.”
