POPSTAR Zayn Malik has again reminded his millions of followers of his Bradford roots in a latest Instagram post.

The East Bowling-born singer has just released his new single – Love Like This - and continues to use his home city to help promote it.

The post, uploaded to his 50.5 million followers yesterday, features an image of Malik in Micklethwaite, near Bingley.

He can be seen sitting down in a red tracksuit beside a flower pot with a bottle in hand.

Other images show him playing a piano and perched next to a red barge, labelled 'Jus Chillin'.

A video is also included - in the post which has attracted over 2.2 million likes in less than 24 hours - with the display of Zayn in large purple letters in Bradford's Centenary Square, outside City Hall.

Last week, he tweeted a video featuring a number of locations in the Bradford district featuring his first name and ‘Love Like This’ adorned on walls in colourful graffiti. These locations included Trafalgar Street.

The star’s tweet featured the simple message ‘Bradford’ next to an emoji of a UK flag.

The former One Direction star, who now lives in Pennsylvania in the USA, recalled his life growing up in Bradford during an appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast earlier this month.

The star revealed Bradford helped to shape and mould a lot of identity for him.
