A BRADFORD district-born comedian, famous for her spoof videos of celebrities on social media, is gearing up for her first UK stand-up tour.

Steff Todd, who was born in Bingley, is set to take her ‘Guestlist’ tour on the road in October this year.

The seven-date tour includes dates in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Liverpool and will close with a performance at the Carriageworks Theatre in Leeds on October 27.

Steff has memories of performing at Bingley Arts Centre, walking along the River Aire to go to school and having tap dance lessons in Shipley. She has also performed shows in Saltaire.

She has built up a strong audience after starring in a series of celebrity send-up videos which she has posted on social media.

One of the most popular has been Yorkshire Kardashians, a spoof on the popular TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. These include her appearing as Kylie Jenner where Steff gives the reality TV star an accent like her own from God's Own County.

She said: “I must stress that my shows are pure escapism.

“My shows are packed with gags and fun routines but also impressions of celebrity huns and icons.

“Nothing is serious and the jokes are always at my expense - and my family. The Yorkshire Kardashians do feature ever so slightly in my show too.

“I grew up in Bingley and a lot of my family and friends are very much West Yorkshire based. It's been great hearing from old school pals who have found my videos online and got in touch.

“I know my Yorkshire tour date is in Leeds but I'm really hoping those from the Bradford district who like my humour are able to make it into Leeds to the Carriageworks Theatre on October 27. That will be the last date of the tour this year so it will be one heck of a party.”

Meanwhile, Steff says she is ‘buzzing’ to be part of the new series of ITV2’s The Stand Up Sketch Show, including an appearance on Friday, July 21.

She added: “It's my first time doing stand-up on telly.

“We filmed the stand-up part in a comedy club in London which was great being part of a cracking line-up.

“For the sketches section, I had to transform into Kylie Jenner and then a British version of Kylie Jenner, tricky to explain, but you will have to see what I mean on Friday night.”
