A BRADFORD district road was closed off due to a police incident today.
Sandy Lane was blocked for part of Thursday evening.
First Bus said the closure was due to an ongoing police incident.
One resident reported seeing armed police in a street just off the main road through Sandy Lane.
Meanwhile a small group of officers could be seen in the Chellow Dene car park.
West Yorkshire Police left the scene around 8pm.

Sandy Lane is currently blocked due to a police incident.
The 615 service will divert via Cottingley Cliffe Road, Stoney Ridge Road, Howarth Road, and Stony Lane.
The bus company added: “The 615 service will divert via Cottingley Cliffe Road, Stoney Ridge Road, Howarth Road, and Stony Lane.”
West Yorkshire Police was unable to provide any further details when approached by the Telegraph & Argus.
