A BRADFORD school has been forced into suddenly closing this morning for the full day.
Knowleswood Primary School, in Knowles Lane, Holme Wood, is shut because it cannot keep doors locked, cook food or provide hot water.
This is due to a power cut.
The phones at the premises are also down.
A Facebook post by the school at 8.33am said: "School is closed due to the power cut.
"We have no power to keep doors locked, cook food or hot water.
"We will keep you updated.
"Thank you for your understanding."
The school then announced just after 9am that the setting would remain shut for the whole day.
The post said: "School will remain closed all day due to insecure site/doors from electrical issues and no hot meals.
"We understand this is an unplanned inconvenience and thank you for your continued understanding."
