AN MP has backed a fitness and dance studio that provides a “safe haven” for women.

Batley and Spen MP Kim Leadbeater visited a ladies' fitness studio in Heckmondwike that helps people make healthy changes to their lifestyles through nutrition and by being active.

Tiffany Clark's SXEFIT Studios, set up in 2005, moved to Heckmondwike just over a decade ago.

Her mission is to provide a safe haven and a solution for women – to educate, empower, and encourage and fill women with education and confidence.

Tiffany said: “I train women, but also couples and children. My method is for people that want to make a real-life change – a full transformation for life.

“I am the solution to health problems but also I give my clients enough confidence to believe and achieve for life and together we can create what I like to call ‘the ultimate Sxefit machine’.”

Ms Leadbeater added: “Tiffany is an inspirational local businesswoman who has been on an incredible journey.

"Her approach to fitness and health, alongside women’s empowerment, makes for a very powerful business model, which sends a positive message in terms of both physical and mental health.”
