A CRIME of arson has been recorded as police and the fire service investigate the cause of a fire at the derelict Richard Dunn Sports Centre building on Rooley Avenue in Bradford.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are investigating a suspicious fire at Richard Dunn Sports Centre last night (July 4.)
"Officers were called at 18.46pm yesterday evening to reports of the fire at the derelict building.
"Investigations between the fire service and the police are ongoing.
"A crime of arson has been recorded."
"Officers would like to appeal to anyone who was in the area or who saw anything suspicious to come forward with information."
