A FIRST of its kind family-friendly car show is to take place in Bradford this weekend.
L.A.X. Motorgroup and Urban Motorclub are hosting the Empires Performance Car Show.
The 70 spots available at the show have been filled with cars ranging from classics to American muscle and supercars.
The event, which will also include food stalls and other activities for families, will run from 2pm to 5pm tomorrow (July 2).
Iby Hussain, of L.A.X. Motorgroup, is excited about the show and hopes to portray a key message.
"We hope the event will show that the Bradford car scene can be a safe and family-friendly environment," he said.
"It will be Bradford's largest car show. The 70 spots sold out within days and hundreds of people will be in attendance."
Young car enthusiasts from both L.A.X. Motorgroup (Iby and Iky Hussain) and Urban Motorclub (Umar Raja and Muhammad Adam) have collaborated together for the event.
Iby has assured spectators that there will be a security team on-site and any anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
"It is not a car meet," he added.
"It is a proper manned car show. We want to remove the stigma. We have already done an event like this in Leeds.
"The engines will be strictly static.
"The cars on show include Rolls Royces, low rides, American muscle, Lamborghinis, Bentley trucks, classic BMWs, and Japanese-made cars.
"Then there are food stalls, an ice cream van, and a play area for the kids."
The event will be held at The Car Empire, off Mill Lane.
