A FIRE at a carpet manufacturing warehouse saw a large response from emergency crews.
Crews from across West Yorkshire were called to the a building fire at 8.33pm on Tuesday at Flush Mills, Westgate, Heckondwike.
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire service called to a large oven on fire within carpet manufacturing warehouse in Heckmondwike area.
"The building is one floor, measuring 100 metres by 50 metres, and 10 per-cent of the building was involved with an exposure risk to two sides.
"Crews used one large jet, one hose reel and four breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire."
Crews from Bradford, Odsal and Cleckheaton fire stations were called to the scene as were Dewsbury, Mirfield, Skelmanthorpe, Pontefract and Morley.
