POLICE have made several arrests in a crackdown on anti-social behaviour in a Bradford district park.
Dealing with anti-social behaviour in Myrtle Park, Bingley, has been a priority for neighbourhood policing team and recently, officers there have made a number of arrests involving youths.
Sergeant Terri Green, of the Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team, tweeted: "We are aware of reported ASB in and around Myrtle Park and this features on our priority patrol plan.
"We have made several arrests. We arrested, charged and remanded a 14-year-old for robbery.
"Several local youths have been identified as being involved in ASB have been issued with ASB sanctions. Parents have been offered support.
"We will continue to tackle this as a team."
Anti-social behaviour has been an issue that police in Bingley have been focusing on for some time.
In December 2021, Bingley police identified Myrtle Park anti-social behaviour as one of the three 'neighbourhood priorities'.
According to the police website at the time, the wording of that priority was as follows: "Dealing with ongoing reports of street dealing in Myrtle Park and the surrounding residential streets. Work with the community developing and taking action on reports and intelligence received."
