A TEENAGER has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Bradford Road, at the junction of Sandringham Road, Clayton, just before 8.40pm on Saturday (June 17).
A man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Police have arrested a 17-year-old male after a fail-to-stop collision was reported on Bradford Road at the junction of Sandringham Road at 20.38pm on Saturday, June 17.
"A 40-year-old pedestrian male was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
"The 17-year-old male was bailed pending further enquiries by the Roads Policing Unit."
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and air ambulance were in attendance."
