EMERGENCY services rushed to a Bradford village last night to reports of a collision between a car and a man.

An emergency ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, and an air ambulance were dispatched to Hunters Park Avenue in Clayton at 8:30pm, yesterday. 

One person was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by road. 

A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "There was an emergency at 8:30pm in Clayton. 

"A car had collided with a man on Hunters Park Avenue. 

"An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and Air Ambulance were in attendance. 

"One patient was taken to hospital by road to Leeds General Infirmary."

West Yokrshire Police have been contacted for further information.
