POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a serious crash that left a cyclist with life-threatening injuries.
It happened on Keighley Road, north of Harden village, near Bingley, at 9.25am yesterday morning (June 11) and involved a pedal cycle and a Suzuki Baleno car.
The car was travelling towards St Ives when it collided with one of two cyclists who were travelling in the same direction.
The Suzuki then carried on without stopping at the scene of the collision, said police.
The cyclist, a male aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious head injuries, a broken pelvis and internal bleeding.
Police are looking to speak with any person who has witnessed the collision or was in the area at the time or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the vehicle.
