A ROAD has been closed after two people were injured in a three-car crash in Horsforth this afternoon.
The police and ambulance service were called at 3.59pm to Bayton Lane, Horsforth, to reports of a crash involving three vehicles. The crash happened near Layton Road.
A spokesperson for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "An emergency call came in just before 4pm to a report of a collision between three cars on Bayton Lane.
"We dispatched three ambulances and a team leader to the scene.
"The incident remains ongoing but so far two patients have been coveyed to Leeds General Infirmary."
According to another report, the road is closed and there is heavy traffic in the area.
