A SHOW which has been on Broadway in New York is coming to a Bradford theatre later this year.

The Life Of Pi will be at the Alhambra Theatre from Monday, November 6 to Saturday, November 11 as part of its year-long tour of the UK and Ireland.

Having opened on Broadway this spring, the show is now nominated for five Tony Awards. Introducing Divesh Subaskaran who leads the company as ‘Pi’. Thew show is Lolita Chakrabarti’s dazzling Olivier Award-winning stage adaption of Yann Martel’s best-selling novel Life of Pi, starring an extraordinary life-size puppeteered Bengal Tiger.

Life of Pi will have its Broadway premiere at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. A European tour will follow the tour of the UK and Ireland and there are now plans underway for a tour of Australia and Asia. Life of Pi won five Olivier Awards in April 2022.

Evening performances for the Alhambra’s run of Life Of Pi will be at 7.30pm, Wednesday matinee is 2pm and the Saturday matinee starts at 2.30pm. Tickets are priced between £20 and £52. An audio described performance will be on Saturday, November 11 from 2.30pm.
