A YOUNG Bradford woman has admitted to behaving in a threatening and abusive manner towards another female at two train stations.

Courtney Szabo, of Brookwater Drive in Shipley, pleaded guilty when she attended Leeds Magistrates Court last Thursday (June 1).

The 23-year-old used threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm, or distress at both Shipley and Kirkstall Forge on September 14 of last year.

She was fined £120 and has to pay £85 in court costs and a £48 victim surcharge.

The offence, which was reported by the British Transport Police, is contrary to Section 4A(1) and (5) of the Public Order Act 1986.

Szabo was told the £253 balance must be paid by June 29, 2023.
