A MAJOR fish and chip restaurant chain is opening another branch in Bradford.
Signage for a new Mother Hubbard's Express has gone up on Fair Road, Wibsey, making it the sixth chain in Bradford.
A spokesperson for Mother Hubbard's said: "Mother Hubbard's is the fastest growing fish and chip brand in the UK.
"This one in Wibsey will be an express store, offering the full Mother Hubbard's menu and will be available on UberEats."
The shop will be celebrating its opening with 45p fish and chips - the price in 1972 - for the first 1,000 customers.
It's due to open on June 24, 2023.
The unit was Wibsey Fisheries until the middle of last month.
An announcement on the business' Facebook page on May 14 said: "A massive heartfelt thank you to everyone for your loyalty and support and custom over the last four years.
"Wibsey Village truly is full of lovely people who we will genuinely miss.
"You have made us so welcome and we have loved our time here. It's now sadly time for us to hang up our aprons.
"Thank you so much Wibsey!"
