A CRASH has caused traffic chaos this morning.
Bus services had to be diverted and traffic was backing up after the crash in the Thornton Road area.
Traffic alerts were reporting that Thornton Road was partially blocked in both directions and there is heavy traffic from School Green to Old Road.
First West Yorkshire sent out a Tweet this morning which said: "Due to an RTC at Thornton Road/Allerton Lane, the road is blocked.
"The 607 service will be terminating at Bell Dene Road and unable to serve Thornton Village."
First then tweeted: "SERVICE UPDATE - 607 Service 607 has now resumed normal route."
The T&A has contacted West Yorkshire Police for a comment.
