A CHARITY in Bradford marked the coronation by holding an event at its headquarters.

The Immanuel Project threw a coronation party at its Community Hub on Westgate in the centre of Bradford.

More than 75 guests, staff and volunteers attended and there was even a Coronation quiche for them to try.

The event, held on Monday, May 8, also included a replay of highlights from the ceremony and a coronation quiz.

Debbie Skowronski, The Immanuel Project manager, said: “The Immanuel Project is a Christian faith-based charity for all faiths or no faith.

“Our dedicated team provides support and serve those most vulnerable within the Bradford and district community throughout the year.

“We provide food, drinks, practical and pastoral support to those in need at our Community Hub on Westgate in the city centre.

“Many of our guests are very lonely at times as they have little or no family. “Consequently missing out on many family lifestyle events which most of us take for granted.

“The Immanuel team thought that it would be unfair if its guests missed out on enjoying these celebrations.”
