A MAN has appeared in court after he was clocked at more than double the speed limit on a road in Bradford.
Awais Nadeem, 20, of Parkfield Road, Bradford, was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court.
He was clocked driving a Volkswagen Golf at 68mph in a 30mph zone of Toller Lane, Bradford, between Lilycroft Road and Ashwell Road. The offence took place on June 9, 2022.
Nadeem was handed six licence points, fined £120 and ordered to pay £110 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for the offence. A collection order was also made by the court at the sentencing hearing.
Nadeem pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced on March 31.
