OFFICERS in Bradford South are continuing their "man hunt" after two stolen bikes were found.

The Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) said a wanted male was seen in a VW Passat on Hyne Avenue, Bierley, but he made off after seeing officers.

The vehicle was later found abandoned on Hopkinson Drive, Tong, and a nearby address was searched.

Whilst in there, officers located two bikes, which were found to be stolen.

In a Facebook Post, West Yorkshire Police, Bradford South, said: "Yesterday evening, officers sighted a wanted male in the VW Passat on Hyne Avenue, Bierley…he made off.

"A short pursuit and a bit of dangerous driving, officers didn’t take such risks and make such selfish decisions. The vehicle was sadly lost.

"It was later found abandoned on Hopkinson Drive, and a nearby address was checked for the wanted male. Whilst in there, officers located the two bikes, which were found to be stolen.

"The suspect is now linked to those bikes too.

"His list of offences is totting up, and we’ll be soon feeling his collar with a bit of luck.

"He was also a disqualified driver without insurance.

"All vehicles seized and the man hunt continues."
