AN arrest has been made after a gang attacked a worker at a Bradford district dessert shop.

The assault occurred in Sweet Sensations, on Commercial Street in Shipley, at around 10pm on Wednesday.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

CCTV footage circulating on social media shows the masked group punching and kicking the victim behind the counter.

The man suffered injuries to his body.

A spokesperson from the force said: "Police are investigating after a man was assaulted by a number of suspects in a café on Commercial Street, Bradford, at around 10pm on Wednesday, March 29.

"A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

"The victim suffered injuries to his body.

"CCTV enquiries are ongoing by Bradford CID.

The Telegraph & Argus reported in February this year that Sweet Sensations was up for sale on the market for £30,000.
