TWO people have been arrested after a branch of a bank was daubed in orange paint.
Supporters of Just Stop Oil staged a ‘go slow’ march in Leeds today and then travelled into the city centre.
A total of 30 Just Stop Oil supporters marched down Clay Pit Lane, holding banners and chanting “Just Stop Oil”.
Two Just Stop Oil supporters were arrested when, at the end of the march, they covered Barclays Bank in Albion Street in orange paint.
The group took to the streets on Saturday morning to demand that the Government stops all new UK oil and gas projects.
The Telegraph & Argus has contacted West Yorkshire Police for a comment but has yet to receive a reply.
