BRADFORD City has been awarded a five-star hygiene rating following the latest inspection of its stadium.

The Bantams' Valley Parade home was given five stars after an unannounced inspection held on March 7, 2023 and published by the Food Standards Agency this week.

The club's ground, which includes a number of bars and food kiosks, was given a rating of very good for its hygienic food handling, which includes with food preparation, cooking and storage.

In the cleanliness of facilities category, it was rated as very good.

For management of food safety, it was also handed a very good rating.

City's business type is described as restaurant/cafe/canteen on the Food Standards Agency website.

City's previous food hygiene ratings were five stars in December 2018, one star in October 2018, four in March 2018 and four in September 2016.

Bradford Telegraph and Argus:

Meanwhile, new food hygiene ratings for eateries across the Bradford district have been published by the Food Standards Agency.

Listed below are the latest findings of council inspectors, as they are back in Bradford.

Almost 4,000 premises across Bradford are rated by the Food Standards Agency, based on the findings of local authority inspectors, who work all year round.

The hygiene standards found at the time of inspection are then rated on a scale.

Five is top of the scale, meaning the hygiene standards are very good and fully comply with the law. Zero is at the bottom of the scale, meaning urgent improvement is necessary.
