A SPATE of garage and shed burglaries saw a number items, including a kayak, stolen over the past few days in Bradford South policing area of the city.

The first incident, a shed burglary, took place between 5pm on Thursday and 12noon on Saturday on Black Dyke View, Queensbury.

Police reported a padlock was snapped off the door and a kayak and paddle were stolen.

Police also reported a garage burglary at Pot House Road, Wibsey, between 5.45pm on Saturday and 10.30am on Sunday someone broke into a garage at an address on Pot House Road, Wibsey.

A number of items were stolen from the freezer.

Police reported between 2pm and 3.50pm on Saturday a garage was broken into at an address on Hallbank Drive near Odsal.

A person broke a side window of the garage to gain access a number of items of property were taken.

The Bradford district West and City NPT also reported a garage burglary at Templars Way, Allerton between 5.30am 6am on Friday.

Police reported a suspect or suspects caused damage to the handle of the shutter door to gain entry and stolen some property within.

Police are encouraging people who live in Templars Way for CCTV footage.
