PANTOMIME will be making a magical return to the Alhambra Theatre this festive season as Bradford panto legend Billy Pearce returns.

Tickets go on general sale on Monday, March 20 for Cinderella which runs from Saturday, December 9, 2023 to Sunday, January 21, 2024.

Cinderella will be produced by the world’s biggest pantomime producer and the team behind the 2022 production of Jack and the Beanstalk, Crossroads Pantomimes.

The production will be packed full of the magical ingredients Bradford audiences have come to expect from their annual festive treat.

Michael Harrison, chief executive of Crossroads Pantomimes, said: “When you think about pantomime in Bradford you immediately think of Billy Pearce.

“He’s a comedy genius and has built a reputation for being at the top of the pantomime genre, delighting audiences for more than two decades.

“I’m thrilled to be celebrating his return to Bradford for another season.

“Cinderella is perhaps the most magical pantomime of them all, and our Bradford production will bring much magic and laughter to the Alhambra Theatre stage this Christmas.”

Billy Pearce described the Alhambra as “the best place in the world to perform”.

He added: “Jack and the Beanstalk last year was an absolute joy. I’m so looking forward to Cinderella, which will no doubt be another fab panto with wonderful talented people entertaining the families of Yorkshire and beyond. What more could I wish for?”

Adam Renton, General Manager at Bradford Theatres, added: “I’m sure that audiences of all ages will thoroughly enjoy another outstanding festive show in Bradford this year.

“It’s wonderful to be able to welcome back pantomime favourite Billy Pearce to the Alhambra Theatre; once again at the top of the bill of our annual panto, which promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

“I’m very proud that the Alhambra Theatre’s pantomime draws visitors from all around the Bradford district, West Yorkshire and beyond - we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to share the panto magic with us and have the opportunity to create some wonderful memories.”
