POLICE are investigating after a 70-year-old man was attacked in Keighley town centre.
Officers were called to North Street by the ambulance service just after 8.15pm yesterday (February 28), to reports of an injured man.
The victim of the assault had suffered serious injuries to his face.
Police say the injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Enquiries into the incident, including examination of CCTV footage from the area, are ongoing.
An area around the junction of Bow Street and North Street, outside Lloyds Bank, was cordoned off by police as investigations continued last night.
