A HAIR salon in Hipperholme is closing down after five years due to rising costs.
Posting on social media, Debbie who opened Hipperholme Hair Boutique in 2018 said she will be closing the salon’s doors for the final time on February 23.
She said: “There is a huge mixture of emotions attached to this decision, I opened the salon in 2018 and have loved creating the business from scratch and watching it grow.
“There have been many highs and a few lows along the way, it has been an absolute pleasure to be part of the journey.
“Unfortunately, the continuing rising costs have made keeping the salon open extremely difficult during this time.”
Instead, Debbie and Toni will be moving to neighbouring salon, Cordelia Jones on Leeds Road in Hipperholme, from February 24.
