A DRIVER without a licence attempted to abandon a BMW in the car park of a sports club.
Police recovered the car on Thursday, February 16.
It was found at Heckmondwike Sports Club.
The driver was reported for summons after also having no insurance on the vehicle.
A spokesperson from the force said: "Officers from Batley & Spen NPT (Neighbourhood Policing Team) recovered this BMW on February 16.
"The driver had no insurance, no driving licence and attempted to abandon the vehicle in Heckmondwike Sports Club.
"The vehicle was recovered and the driver has been reported for summons."
