A MAN was injured in a robbery at a Bradford home this week.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are investigating reports of a robbery a Cliffe Terrace, Baildon, on Sunday (February 5) morning.

"A man was taken to hospital with injuries to his leg."

One local resident said: "I saw a lot of police cars and an ambulance took someone to hospital."

The resident said the robbery happened within half-a-mile of an attack on Glenwood Avenue in Baildon.

Police were called to the scene at 10am yesterday morning (Wednesday, February 8) where they found an injured male.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

"Two suspects made off from the scene in the direction of Roberts Park," said a police spokesperson.

"Initial enquiries suggest that this was a targeted attack and there is no threat to the wider public.

"Local patrols from the neighbourhood team have been stepped up to provide reassurance," a spokesperson added.

"Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area this morning who may have seen the incident or two males with balaclavas on to come forward."

The resident said: "Baildon is usually a peaceful quiet place. I'm very worried."
