Showcased recently at St George’s Hall in Bradford, Come What May is a fantastic performance. It has it all with singing, dancing, humour, hit musical songs and remarkable costumes. Come What May is a tribute to the famous musical Moulin Rouge and other hit movie musicals, including The Greatest Showman, A Star is Born and Rocket Man.

Bursting with timeless classics Come What May showcased songs such as Your Song, Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend, Roxanne, Lady Marmalade and of course Come What May. Each song was performed diligently and with great skill. Many had fascinating dances alongside, with many being performed by Robin Windsor from Strictly Come Dancing.

The cast were all brilliant actors, singers and dancers. There were three main singers, who sang many solos and excellent duets of classic love songs, and many talented dancers, of which each and every one knew how to preform well.

The stage had lots of colourful, radiant lighting, where on many occasions the colour fitted the moods of the songs perfectly. The costumes where also all impeccable, with each actor having multiple costume changes. There were feathers, sparkling suits and beautiful dresses. The show also featured lots of humorous audience participation with the actors speaking directly to the audience multiple times. Fellow audience member Claire Peacock said: “I really enjoyed all the songs, costumes and dancing. It was a truly fascinating show.”

St George’s Hall is a great venue, finding your seats is proved easy with friendly staff eager to guide the way and each row being marked by a letter. The building also has a bar where you can choose from a range of refreshing drinks, either during the interval or before the performance starts.

Come What May is a fantastic performance and a great opportunity to relax and enjoy yourself. You’ll be laughing, singing along and dancing in no time!
