A man in his 30s, named locally as Nick Bid, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other people travelling in the vehicle were taken to hospital.

One of the tributes at the scene read: "To Biddle, so sorry you had to go so early. We will all miss you. Rest in peace."

Another said: "Now then mate. You're going to be a big loss to a lot of people. You were the best mate but we will meet again. It's bye for now."
