A WOMAN from Bradford has appeared in court charged with failing to pull down an extension built without planning permission.
Sajida Shahid, of Harewood Street, Barkerend, appeared in Bradford Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with breaching an enforcement notice.
The charge relates to an enforcement notice issued by Bradford Council in April 2018, ordering her to remove an “unauthorised” front extension at her terraced property – 386 Harewood Street.
The notice required Shahid to remove the extension by Autumn 2018.
Thursday was Shahid’s first appearance before the court. Magistrates were informed that she would require an interpreter for the case to proceed.
The case was adjourned until the afternoon of May 4.
