LOOK: IMAGES OF THE SCENE SHOW DAMAGED VEHICLES
A POLICE cordon is in place on a Bradford street following a shooting incident at a property.
West Yorkshire Police say a number of males gained entry to the address on Farleton Drive, in Fagley, causing significant damage on Tuesday, January 31.
Officers believe a potential firearm was also discharged.
Police neighbourhood patrols have been stepped up in the area to provide reassurance to residents.
No one was injured during the incident.
Pictures taken on Thursday by the Telegraph & Argus show a black Volkswagen Golf and flatbed truck heavily damaged.
The car's back window is completely smashed with the bumper fallen off, while the other vehicle's windscreen has been smashed in several places.
Two police vehicles were inside the cordon and the gates leading into the property have fallen through.
Eccleshill Ward Councillor Brendan Stubbs said: "There have been a few incidents recently. It is very worrying.
"I have been reassured by the police that it is organised criminality.
"But that does not make it any less nerve-wracking for residents to see police vehicles and cordons in their area.
"I would just encourage anyone if they saw something to share it with the police immediately.
"We can only go back to living in peace when these people are brought to justice."
West Yorkshire Police alerted the Telegraph & Argus at 2pm on Thursday with the latest update in their probe.
A spokesperson said: "The investigation is at an early stage and ongoing, as such we are keeping an open mind."
It follows an appeal the force sent out earlier in the day, which read: "Police were called at 11.31pm on January 31 to an address on Farleton Drive, Bradford to reports of an ongoing disturbance.
"A number of males gained entry to the property causing significant damage, it’s believed a potential firearm was discharged in the property.
"No one was injured.
"A scene is currently in place to undergo forensic examination and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
"Neighbourhood patrols have been stepped up in the area to provide reassurance.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or use the Live Chat facility at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/contactus quoting log 2106 of 31 January.
"Information can always be given anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
