A MAN was rushed to hospital after suffering serious head injuries following a reported assault and robbery in Bradford.
The incident happened at a house on Brentford Road, Low Moor, on Saturday afternoon.
Three men are understood to have fled the scene.
The 45-year-old was treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
One resident said: "At around 4.15pm, there was an ambulance and police car leaving the scene.
"Brentford Road was partly shut."
West Yorkshire Police is investigating the incident.
A spokesperson from the force said: "Police are investigating after reports of an assault and robbery at a house on Brentford Road on Saturday, January 28.
"Officers were called at around 3.45pm on Saturday to reports a man had suffered head injuries after being assaulted.
"The man aged 45 was taken to hospital to be treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
"It’s understood three men ran from the property. Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford CID.
"Police are appealing for anyone who knows anything about the incident or anyone who saw people running from the property on Saturday afternoon to come forward.
