PART of a motorway in Batley has now re-opened after it had remained closed earlier this morning due to overrunning overnight works.
The westbound M62 between junctions 28 (Morley) and junction 27 (Batley) remained closed earlier this morning after an issue with the tarmac setting in planned overnight works.
National Highways: Yorkshire tweeted to confirmed at around 9.30am today that the stretch of motorway had now re-opened:
The #M62 westbound J28 (#Morley) - J27 (#Batley) has now been reopened following overnight planned roadworks which over ran. The tarmac has set and contractors have removed all of the traffic management from the carriageway. pic.twitter.com/LjjFPhvqwj
