- DEVELOPERS behind a multi-million project to turn Bradford’s former Odeon cinema into a music venue have given an update on the building work.
Bradford Live is now expected to be open in autumn 2023, a delay of a year, in a major transformation of the iconic 1930s building.

The site, which has been a cinema and theatre in the past, will see the Bradford Live project turn the building into a 3,800-capacity live music venue.
Bradford Live gave an update on the progress of the ambitious project on its Facebook and Twitter pages.
The Facebook post said: “New steels ready to be lifted into place above the stage, the upper balcony with its new floor and the birdcage scaffolding in the auditorium to allow works on the roof and ceiling.”
Accompanied by pictures inside the building, Bradford Live tweeted: “The main auditorium with its central dome.
"The massive birdcage scaffolding is soon due to almost completely fill the space, to allow works on the main roof and ceiling.”
