A BRADFORD man has been jailed for assaulting three people including a police officer, damaging a car and using offensive language.

Abdul Abdullah, of Heaton Road, was given an eight-month prison sentence when his case was heard at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Friday, January 20.

The 27-year-old carried out the array of offences across Thursday and Friday, February 11 and 12 of last year.

On Thursday, he assaulted a person, occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH), by shod foot on West Bank Close in Keighley.

Abdullah then assaulted another man by beating at the same location on the same day.

The day later, he damaged a Ford Fiesta and verbally threatened two police officers.

While at the BRI, he also assaulted one of the officers.

Court documents say the offences were so serious because they occurred while the defendant was subject to a community sentence and he has a record of previous offending.
