The BBC's build up to tonight's FA Cup coverage was blighted by a series of rude noises.
Gary Lineker laughed as he said 'I don't know who's making that noise'. The MOTD presenter and England legend Later asked: "I don't know if you can hear that at home."
The production team seemed unable to prevent the background noise reappearing through the preview to the Wolves v Liverpool FA cup tie, with the sound resembling that of a woman moaning with pleasure.
People were quick to take to social media, with one observer saying: "Just watching MOTD live build up and all you can hear is sex noises in the background. Lineker looks embarrassed."
Later, Lineker took to Twitter to explain that a mobile phone had been found taped to the back of the set. "As sabotage goes, it was quite amusing," Lineker added.
Many responded to the tweet, with some describing it as an "impressive prank."
At half time, Lineker described Liverpool's opening goal as a "screamer" - adding that "It's not the only one we've had tonight!"
Earlier, Lineker and his studio guests Danny Murphy and Paul Ince had remained professional and continued with their preview to the cup tie, despite the unexpected intrusion.
