A WELL-USED park in south Bradford is currently being revamped as part of a wider programme to replace play facilities across the district.
The park on Eversley Drive near Carrwood Primary School was in a ruinous state with graffiti and outdated playing equipment.
Now through council funding, the park has been given a refresh with a new slide and climbing frame.

Councillor Matt Edwards, for the Tong ward, said: “The play area at Eversley Drive is really well used – especially by the children at a Carrwood Primary School – and it gave parents a place to catch up whilst children played.
“Before this refurbishment, the play equipment was well passed its sell-by date and this refurbishment was long overdue.
“When Bradford Council started the programme to replace the play areas across the district, I pushed hard for this play area to be one of the first and I am glad to see the work well underway.
“There are other play areas in Holme Wood and Bierley that desperately need this investment and when this is done I will be pushing for improvements there too.”
