A BRADFORD district takeaway has closed its doors at its current location as it plans to move to a bigger site.

Phatboiz, on Arctic Street in Keighley, announced the news on Facebook on Wednesday afternoon.

They say sales were hit when they came off Just Eat and have only now started to pick up.

Bosses hope to be in the new location by mid-February and have told customers to keep an eye out for their launch.

The post read: "So, here is a post that’s come as a shock to us as you too.

"We are closing down.

"I’m afraid after we came off JE (JustEat) the business took a downward spiral in sales but then slowly started to get better.

"However, the light at the end of the tunnel is we're only closing down in our current location as we transition into our bigger premises.

"Come mid-February we will be back open in a new bigger location and this time we’re going to hit the ground running.

"We have the team in place now to move forward with the business and keep your eyes out for the launch of our daytime menu.

"Thank you for your patience."
