PRINCE Harry’s memoir is projected to be one of this year’s best-sellers by a leading bookshop after 'exceptional sales' in Bradford.

Waterstones has seen ‘exceptional’ sales in Bradford and across the UK for Prince Harry’s book ‘Spare’, which was officially released on January 10, 2023.

The bookstore has seen its biggest pre-order numbers in a decade and has seen an ‘unprecedented’ number of click & collect orders.

Spare has been a hot topic of conversation in the lead-up to its release and has become the UK’s fastest-selling nonfiction book ever, after selling 400,000 copies-including ebooks, audiobooks, and hardbacks.

A spokesperson for Waterstones said: “We are very pleased with the exceptional sales we have seen so far, including the sales in Waterstones Bradford.

“Having such a prominent book land in shops in January has added welcome interest to a usually quieter month.

“Spare is one of the biggest pre-orders for Waterstones in a decade and we have seen unprecedented numbers of click & collect orders in our bookshops. We expect Spare to be one of this year’s bestsellers.”
