A BRADFORD-born actor hopes to work out the truth when she appears as a contestant on a TV quiz show.

Natalie Anderson, best known for her roles in TV soaps Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, will be one of four contestants appearing on BBC One’s Bridge of Lies.

She will be teaming up with fellow soap actors John Partridge, formerly of EastEnders; fellow Hollyoaks star Richard Blackwood and Faye Brookes, who used to be in Coronation Street, on the show broadcast on BBC One on Saturday, January 14 at 6.05pm.

She will take part in a celebrity special of the family game show hosted by Ross Kemp, in which the panel of famous faces work together to raise money for each player’s chosen charity.

One by one they all face the bridge, choosing who faces each crossing depending on the question category.

Each bridge crossing has 32 potential steps, which include 22 truths and 10 lies, and they must cross by stepping on the truths and avoiding the lies, earning money for each correct answer.

Once each player has faced the bridge on their own, those who have been successful will team up to face the final crossing for a chance to take home the cash.
