Police have issued this image of a man they wish to identify following an assault at a pub in Mirfield.

The incident took place outside The Flowerpot Pub, Calder Road, at around 9.15pm on Friday, December 16.

The victims were assaulted by a group of males as they stepped outside of the pub with friends.

The group knocked the victims to the floor, leaving them with cuts and bruises.

Three suspects have been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Kirklees District Police would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man, pictured, or has information about the assault.

Acting Insp Ibz Rafiq of Kirklees District Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate what was a sustained assault on members of the public during the peak of the Christmas period.

“Offences of violence will never be tolerated and robust enquiries are ongoing to bring those involved to justice whilst the investigation continues.

“I would ask anyone who recognises the man pictured or who has further information about the incident itself to contact us.”
